By going on "I'm a Celebrity" Matt Hancock has shown the people of West Suffolk that he cares more about his own bank balance than the interests of his constituents.

Suspended from his Party, absent in Australia while Parliament sits, he has left the people of West Suffolk without meaningful representation.  His suspension happened on Day 1 of the public enquiry into the monster Sunnica solar farm near Newmarket, which Matt has said he's against, but seems to have stopped engaging with.

Meanwhile, those who do care spent all day in a committee room going line by line over fat legal documents.

This petition will make it clear that the people of the county and the towns of Newmarket, Mildenhall and Haverhill have been deserted at a time of need.

If you're an elector in the West Suffolk constituency, signing this petition will let Mr Hancock and the Tory Party know that they cannot rely upon the countryside to support them when they fail to do their job.

Removing the whip is not enough. He should resign and allow a by-election, giving the people of West Suffolk the chance to replace him with somebody prepared to put the interests of the Constituency first.
